Man tries to rob liquor store at gunpoint


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police are looking for a man who tried to rob a Rochester liquor store at gunpoint.

It happened at Woody's Liquor in the 300 block of Elton Hills Drive Northwest just after 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Rochester police said a man walked into the liquor store, pulled a gun and demanded money. The store clerk didn't give the man any cash. The suspect took off without any further incident.

He is described as a white man in his 30s, 5',11" with a medium build. The man was last seen wearing a tan jacket with an attached hoodie and blue sweat pants.
