Trapshooting recognized as high school sport

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) -- Minnesota will be the first state in the country to host a sanctioned high school trapshooting tournament.

In December, the Minnesota State High School League board of directors approved the state tournament with the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League for June 2014.

The board says trapshooting will be recognized as a sport like all other high school sports.
