Trial scheduled after four die in boat crash

BURLINGTON (KWWL) -

A trial has been scheduled for two men charged in a fatal boat crash last spring.

The collision happened on the Mississippi River near Burlington in May, killing four people.

22-year-old Douglas Metcalf and 21-year-old Joseph Schier Jr. were driving the boats.  They are charged with involuntary manslaughter and boating while intoxicated

Trial is scheduled for May 13.

They both have pleaded not guilty.
