ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- If you're looking to get rid of your Christmas trees and lights you have a few options.
You can take your tree to the Olmsted County Compost Site to have it recycled.
The site accepts trees during January, February and March.
The trees will be chipped down into mulch which will later be free to the public in the spring.
There are also several locations in Olmsted County where you can take broken Christmas lights to be recycled.
The county will be accepting Christmas lights through January.
