Vote delayed on proposed frac sand facility

WABASHA, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Wabasha Planning Commission has delayed its final vote on a proposed frac sand facility.

Superior Sands wants to build a frac sand facility in the county but they can't do that until the commission grants them a conditional use permit.

The planning commission was supposed to vote on the issue Tuesday night but the Winona Daily News reports they are waiting until Friday so members have more time to review the final permit.
