ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Congressman Tim Walz is rethinking his position on an assault weapons ban following the school shooting.
Walz said he is still a proud defender of gun rights, but believes gun rights supporters need to start showing more flexibility.
Recently, the Democratic congressman signed a letter to the attorney general opposing any prospective moves by the Obama administration to ban assault weapons.
Walz recently won a 4th term with the endorsement of the NRA.
