Sexual harassment lawsuit filed against RCTC, former employee

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)- A sexual harassment lawsuit has now been filed in Olmsted County against Rochester Community Technical College and a former employee.

Janelle McHugo, the accuser in the case, alleges in the lawsuit that Brian Watters, the former Law Enforcement Program Coordinator at RCTC, initiated a personal relationship with her by expressing his feelings for her.

McHugo says Watters texted and emailed her daily about how he was so attracted to her and begged her to run away with him.

The complaint goes on to say that Watters became jealous when McHugo spent time with other male students.

McHugo says the advances made her uncomfortable and caused her significant mental distress.

The lawsuit seeks at least $50,000 in damages
