Dodge County Public Health receives obesity grant

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - In the nation's ongoing fight with obesity, Dodge County Public Health is receiving a little help.

UCare awarded more than $36,000 in grants to help Dodge County Public Health's obesity reduction efforts.

The county already works to address weight loss and the prevention of obesity which is one of the reasons they were chosen for the award.

UCare gave out two other grants to Minnesotan organizations working to reach statewide health goals
