Fire destroys Austin business

AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) -- An Austin business has been destroyed by a fire.

Fire crews responded to the 100 block of 4th Ave. Northeast at about 10:45 p.m. Monday.

When Austin firefighters arrived on scene, there was heavy smoke and fire inside the Sako African Food Market.

The heavy smoke and heat destroyed just about everything inside the store.

No one was inside the business at the time of the fire.

Fire officials say the fire may have been the result of a chemical reaction of some of the products inside.
