MILLVILLE, Minn. (KTTC) -- Sandy Webster and her husband James are Minnesota's newest millionaires after purchasing a winning ticket in the record Nov. 28 Powerball jackpot.
The single ticket that Sandy purchased at a St. Charles Kwik Trip matched the first five numbers drawn.
"Best two dollars I've ever spent," she said.
The couple doesn't have any big plans for the money, but they say that they may take their two children to Disney world in the spring.
Sandy volunteers and Plainview School where her children attend, and James works for the Wabasha Highway Department. They say they plan to keep doing what they are doing, and may even keep playing the lottery.
The couple says they live simply and don't have much debt, so the money will likely go to help pay for their children's college education and a comfortable retirement.
Sandy says her winning strategy is to take the quick pick.
"I'm not very lucky," she said. "Whatever they pick they pick."
