Man arrested after stabbing near Charles City

CHARLES CITY, Iowa (KTTC) -- Floyd County deputies have arrested a man in a stabbing near Charles City.

Keith Adams, 39, of Minneapolis, is being held in the Floyd County Jail on charges of willful injury and possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies were called to Highway 218 south of Charles City shortly after 3:15 a.m. Thursday.

One man had knife wounds to the leg and head area, according to the Floyd County Sheriff's Office. He was treated at a local hospital and released.
