ROCHESTER Minn. (KTTC) -- After almost 10 years Rochester Produce is closing and moving out due to low sales.
Owner John Kruse said business slowed down after Trader Joe's moved into town.
The locally sourced market has been looking for a tenant to rent part of the building so it could downsize, but after a year of unsuccessful hunting, Kruse is closing the doors.
Everything at Rochester Produce will go on sale at 30 percent off starting Monday, and the store will close once the current inventory is sold.
Kruse said the store expects to sell through the current inventory and some store supplies by the end of next week.
A new local business will be opening the location in 2013.
Apollo Liquor, which is also in the building, will stay open.
