Woman hurt in SW Rochester rollover after swerving to avoid deer

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A woman was hurt about 5 a.m. Wednesday when her vehicle rolled over in southwest Rochester.

It happened on Mayo Woodlands Road SW.

Police say the woman swerved to miss a deer and her mini-van ended up rolling into the ditch, landing on its side.

She was conscious when crews arrived and was taken to Saint Marys with non-life threatening injuries.

The Olmsted County Sheriffs Office and Rochester Fire Department responded to the accident.
