Mantorville crash victim improving at Saint Marys

MANTORVILLE, Minn. (KTTC) -- A woman injured in a serious crash near Mantorville Tuesday about 11:30 a.m. has improved at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Karen McLaughlin, 69, of Mantorville was airlifted to the hospital by Mayo One after she collided with a semi.

It all happened on Highway 57 just north of Mantorville.  McLaughlin pulled into the intersection of County Road 16 and Highway 57 and broadsided a semi-truck.

Firefighters had to extricate McLaughlin from her SUV before she was airlifted to Saint Marys.

She is currently listed in fair condition.
