UPDATE: Intersection reopens after crash north of Mantorville

MANTORVILLE, Minn. (KTTC) -- A 69-year-old Mantorville woman was transported by Mayo Clinic helicopter to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester after colliding with a semitrailer just north of Mantorville.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 57 and County Road 16.

The intersection was closed for about an hour as crews investigated the crash.

The Mantorville woman was driving an SUV westbound on County Road 16 when she collided with the semitrailer driven by a 52-year-old man from Big Lake. 

Officials say both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
