ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Here's a sign that the holiday season is right around the corner.
On Friday, staff from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Conservation Corps of Minnesota will harvest a 65-foot spruce tree in the Chengwatana State Forest near Pine City. The tree is headed for the governor's official residence in St. Paul.
KNSI radio (http://tinyurl.com/abnojj3 ) says the holiday tree will be set up at the governor's residence Monday morning. Last year's tree also came from the Chengwatana State Forest.
