Rochester man tased after fleeing from police

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) --  A Rochester man is in custody after fleeing from police late Wednesday night.

Jose Castellanos, 37, was arrested just before 11 p.m.

Rochester police said Castellanos fled on foot after officers stopped the car he was riding in.

During the chase Castellanos reached toward his waist multiple times, according to police.

Law enforcement tased him. That's when police said Castellanos threw a bag of drugs in the sewer near the 800 block of 41st Street Northwest.
