BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) -- If you love cats, you're going to love a new exhibit at Zollman Zoo in Oxbow Park.
We're talking big cats. The habitat is now home to a cougar, lynx and bobcat. It is a natural environment with grass, waterfalls, rocks and streams.
The exhibit was made possible by funds raised by the Friends of Oxbow group and cost $100,000 to build.
Naturalist Karlin Ziegler said the exhibit is an exciting new attraction for the Byron zoo.
"They have ponds in their exhibits, they have trees to climb on," said Ziegler. "Lots of natural elements that they've never had in their exhibit before as well as having larger exhibits than they've ever had."
The exhibit at the zoo is open to the public daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
