ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The RPU board voted Tuesday to replace the reservoir near Saint Marys Park.
The current 1.5 million gallon reservoir will be replaced by a 3.5 million gallon reservoir on the same site.
The cost of the project is about $3.4 million. That cost covers the demolition of the current reservoir as well as a 500,000 gallon reservoir in downtown Rochester.
The board also approved its 2013 budget Tuesday night. With that approval rates for water and electric utilities will not increase.
