ALBERT LEA, Minn. (KTTC) -- One of the two men charged in Albert Lea with kidnapping two women one year ago has been sentenced to probation.
Trayvon Forrest, 23, of Fort Dodge, Iowa was sentenced this week as part of a plea deal. Forrest was sentenced to 10 years probation plus performing 40 hours of community service.
His co-defendant Michael Kraft, also of Fort Dodge, is scheduled for a jury trial in late January.
Two 18-year-old women told police the men assaulted them and covered their faces with duct tape before forcing them out of the vehicle last November.
