PRESTON, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Mabel woman is facing charges for stealing money from a non-profit.
Kristina Nolte appeared in Fillmore County District Court Monday. She is charged with two counts of forgery, two counts of aggravated forgery and two counts of theft by check, all felonies.
According to the criminal complaint, Nolte was hired by Historic Bluff Country in 2008 and had used HBC funds for personal use, depositing $2,500 into her own account.
She is also accused of forging the board secretary's signature to obtain a $15,000 loan for the group.
Her next court appearance is set for October 22.
