Body found in burning car identified

SPARTA, Wis. (KTTC) -- Authorities have released the name of the woman whose body was found in a burning car last month in Sparta, Wis.

Karen Koca, 33, was found in a burning car bearing Minnesota license plates.

It's been determined she was not the owner of that car and is from New Lisbon, Wis.

The cause of death has yet to be determined and authorities are treating the death as a homicide.
