EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- One quarter through the season, there is one starting quarterback left in the NFL who hasn't thrown an interception.
It is Minnesota's Christian Ponder, the same guy who turned the ball over a lot, often at critical times, as a rookie last year.
A full offseason of learning the offense, improving his awareness and sharpening his skills has done Ponder and the Vikings a remarkable amount of good. Coach Leslie Frazier said he's been most impressed by the way Ponder has developed a stronger sense for staying in the pocket to complete a pass and avoid a sack.
