CLAREMONT, Minn. (KTTC) -- Minnesota State Patrol is investigating what caused a one-vehicle rollover.
A 2002 Ford Explorer was traveling west on Highway 14 West near Claremont when it veered left into a ditch.
The driver, 32-year-old Estella Lopez, overcorrected to the right, causing the truck to rollover on the highway.
The passenger, 27-year-old Feliciano Lopez, was ejected.
Minnesota State Patrol says Feliciano was not wearing a seat belt.
Mayo One flew Feliciano to Saint Marys Hospital, while the Estella was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
"This one was definitely driver error. Obviously the injuries to this passenger who got ejected... he wouldn't have been ejected had he had a seatbelt on," said Eric Bormann, a state patrol trooper.
Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 14 West near Dodge County Road 5 North was closed for about an hour while authorities cleaned up the scene.
