Search warrant leads to 2 arrests in Osage

OSAGE, Iowa (KTTC) -- A search warrant leads to two arrests in Osage.

Mitchell County deputies and the Iowa State Patrol carried out the search warrant today at 1138 380th Street in Osage.

Authorities arrested Brian Holzer, 39, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He had an arrest warrant from that state charging him with a rape in August. Holzer also had outstanding Iowa arrest warrants dating back to 2003.

Authorities also arrested Leigh Viers, 27, of Charles City, on a charge of accessory after the fact.
