ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- An undercover drug buy ends in two arrests, and a stash of drugs and cash is now in the hands of police.
The arrests were part of a bust made by the Southeast Minnesota Narcotics and Gang Task Force on Friday.
Rochester police said Abdullahi Abdirahman, 20, and Kamal Abukar, 22, fled the scene of that buy.
Police did not pursue the vehicle, but later found it abandoned at 14th Street and 4th Avenue Northwest.
The men were seen nearby and fleeing on foot.
Police were able to catch and arrest the men who now face charges of controlled substance crimes, fleeing police in a motor vehicle as well as not in a motor vehicle.
Police carried out a search warrant at one of the residences in northwest Rochester and found 2 ounces of cocaine, 5 ounces of meth and $7,850 in cash.
