DODGE CENTER, Minnesota (KTTC) – One person is injured after a farming accident just north of Dodge Center.
It happened around noon on Saturday at the Rodney Thompson farm.
Mr. Thompson was unloading beans from his combine into the front wagon that was parked on top of a hill. His hired hand, 17-year-old Derek Jensen had just unhooked two wagons from the tractor at the bottom of the hill. Two other wagons then rolled down the hill, striking the two wagons Derek had just unhooked. The tongue of one of the wagons hit Derek and threw him into the back of the trailer.
Derek was able to free himself and crawl away.
He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester by Mayo One with visible injuries to his head and right leg.
His is listed in good condition.
