BRYON, Minn. (KTTC) -- Things were a little freaky this Friday in Byron.
The middle school hosted its 5th annual Freaky Friday. Just like the movie, parents spent a day in school.
After a short assembly Friday morning to remind parents of the rules, they were given a chair and a friendly wave as they joined their kids for a typical day of classes.
"I would have to say this is my favorite day of the year," said Mick Nichols, a Byron Middle School parent. "It's really fun as a parent to participate with your kids in their school day."
Freaky Friday was all part of the Byron homecoming celebration. The day ended with an all school pep fest.
