Teenage girl hurt in crash in northwest Rochester


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A teenage girl is in the hospital after a car crash in northwest Rochester.

Rochester police say two girls were traveling west on 55th Street NW and attempted to turn left onto 18th Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver failed to yield and was hit by another car heading east.

The driver in the other car is fine, and the passenger in the teen's car had minor injuries.

The teenage driver was taken by ambulance to Saint Marys Hospital with minor injuries.
