ST. CHARLES, Minn. (KTTC) -- A fire broke out at an egg processing facility near St. Charles.
According to the St. Charles Fire Chief, the fire ignited from a diesel engine that was running in an additional room to the facility at 13404 Keller Drive.
The fire was reported by a passerby at about 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
"This far out sometimes in this area of the community it's hard to get a good response and a good call in," said St. Charles Fire Chief Lyle Peterson. "I was pleased with the response and the time out here."
Peterson said the fire was contained to one end of the 150-foot-long building and most of it is still operational.
