New restaurant set to open near Rochester airport

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A new eatery is set to open near Rochester International Airport.

The Ground Round will open its doors in late September at 7386 Airport View Drive SW.

The Rochester City Council was expected to approve the restaurant's liquor license at Monday night's meeting.

The site has been home to other restaurants in the past, such as 331 Bar and Grill and The Hanger.
