ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- More green space won't be sprouting in the downtown area.
Monday night, city officials pulled the plug on a proposed new park at the former sight of KTTC's station at 1st avenue and 6th street southwest.
The project was all part of the Downtown Master Plan, to invest in open spaces.
The Rochester Area Foundation planned to oversee construction of the project - and hoped to sell it to UMR as part of the future downtown campus.
