ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Some World War II veterans were treated to breakfast Friday morning at the Vincent Berg Farm near Rochester.
Veterans gathered for pancakes where they shared stories of their war experiences.
Veteran Vince Berg hosted the event. He said it started over a pancake recipe years ago from 1850. Now, the event has another meaning as it becomes harder for veterans to gather together.
"Because of our age we no longer have these reunions because there are very few of us left," Berg said.
Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede was also on hand to visit and listen to the veterans.
