ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Just a few days after announcing new service to Phoenix, the Rochester International Airport has received $500,000 to help recruit more airline service.
U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken and Representative Tim Walz announced the funds would be issued through the Department of Transportation's Small Community Air Service Development Program.
The funds were part of a grant application and will be combined with local funding to recruit more airlines.
