ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police say a medical issue possibly led to a head-on crash in Rochester.

The accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Friday at 1880 3rd Ave. NW.

Rochester police Capt. John Sherwin said a vehicle driven by Beverly Ann Jones, 85, of Rochester, struck a vehicle driven by Shawna Lee Stussy, 35, of Zumbrota. Sherwin said Jones possibly had a medical issue that contributed to the crash.

Both women were transported to Saint Marys Hospital. Jones was listed in fair condition on Monday. A family member of Stussy's says she is recovering.
