Stewartville man killed in Wisconsin crash

Viroqua, WI (KTTC)  A Stewartville man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Wisconsin.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday in Viroqua.

45-year-old Richard Arneson was riding on Highway 56 when he lost control on a curve.

He went off the road and then airborne, before hitting a tree.

Arneson died at the scene.

Officials say he was not wearing a helmet and alcohol may have been a factor.
