Cats show off their beauty

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)--  The best of the best gathered at the Mayo Civic Center for a four-legged friend beauty contest.

The Civic Center is playing host to the Coulee Regional Cat Club show this weekend. Cat lovers and their feline friends from all over the region competed for rosettes and points in four judging arenas.

The cats are judged on breed characteristics, but even the casual spectator at the show didn't have to go home empty-handed. Cat suppliers featured everything for your fuzzy friends, even the latest litter scoop.

Theresa Buehler was there showing her cat Billy and says, "It's a lot of fun. We come from Iowa and we go all over the place. I've been showing for 36 years, granding in two shows is a great thing."
