ALBERT LEA, Minn. (KTTC)-- Freeborn County Fair is in full swing and new at this year's fair is Smoke Free Kid's Day.
Fair employees told us that besides health issues, smoke has seemed to deter families from enjoying certain parts of the fair.
This year, the fair board along with Freeborn County Partners In Prevention designated Kids Day as Smoke free. It their goal to eliminate that health factor and encourage being smoke free.
Kids and their parents were eager to join in this year's fun. From giant elephants providing entertainment to the classic rides, the showing was bigger than ever. Believe it or not some even had the chance to walk on water.
