MASON CITY, Iowa (KTTC) -- A Union Pacific railroad employee was pinned between cars and killed early Tuesday morning in Mason City.
Georgiy Soloviyov, 36, of Stanhope, was working on a railroad car coupling around 2:30 a.m. when another car rolled into him, pinning him.
Other employees found Soloviyov injured in the railyard just west of the intersection of 14th St. NW and N. Quincy Ave.
Soloviyov was pronounced dead at the scene.
