ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A man police say was unhappy he was not going to be served at a Rochester bar early Tuesday morning allegedly punched a bartender in the face and bit him before being restrained by police.
32-year-old Omar Gomez was at the Northstar Bar at 503 Broadway Ave. N. at 1:59 a.m. Tuesday when police say he assaulted the bartender.
The bartender was not seriously injured.
Gomez was charged with fifth degree assault in the incident and also had an Olmsted County warrant for another fifth degree assault.
