Crews respond to early morning town home fire

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- No one was hurt after an early morning fire at a town home complex in Rochester.

Crews were called to the five-unit complex on the 1700 block of 8 1/2 Street Southeast around 6 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke from the top and sides of one of the units.

Nearby units were evacuated while crews put the fire out.

No one was home at the time.

Damage is estimated at around $20,000.
 
Investigators are still looking for a cause.
