WANAMINGO, Minn. (KTTC) -- A man was killed and two children injured in a two-vehicle crash near Wanamingo.
It happened on Highway 60 at about 4:40 p.m. Thursday. The Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV collided head-on with a semitrailer.
The driver of the SUV, 36-year-old Michael Buck, of Faribault, was killed. An 11-year-old girl was critically injured and an 8-year-old boy had minor injuries.
The driver of the semitrailer, 78-year-old Francis Pavek, was not hurt.
Troopers say Buck veered into the opposite lane and collided with the semi. The crash closed Highway 60 for more than four hours on Thursday.
