Crime alert out for stolen Minn. school mascot

ST. ANTHONY, Minn. (AP) -- A Minnesota Crime Alert is out for a missing school mascot.

The hand-carved wooden statue of a panda was stolen from outside an elementary school in St. Anthony.

The panda is about 5 feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds and was bolted to the concrete.

The theft happened July 15 at Wilshire Park Elementary School.
