Woman suffers burns in camp fire accident

SCANDIA VALLEY TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP) -- Morrison County sheriff's deputies say a woman has suffered extensive burns in a camp fire accident.

Authorities say the 44-year-old woman was using camping fuel on a fire in Scandia Valley Township Tuesday evening. A gust of wind blew fuel on the woman and she caught fire, suffering burns to a large portion of her body.

She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center by helicopter. Her condition was not immediately known.
