City of Albert Lea warns of possible water bill scam

ALBERT LEA, Minn. (KTTC) -- The city of Albert Lea is warning about a possible water bill scam.

The city's finance department says two people received calls about past due water bills and a possible shut off of services.

The city of Albert Lea will mail a written notice if your service is going to be interrupted.
 
If you receive a call claiming your water service will be shut off, you're asked to call Albert Lea police.
