Man arrested after fight in Winona

WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Winona man has been arrested after a fight broke out Saturday afternoon in Winona.

According to the Winona Daily News, a caller reported James Lee Winn, 25, had a gun at the Maplewood Townhomes.

Another man involved in the fight told police Winn hit him in the face and then grabbed his gun.

When officers showed up, Winn did not have a gun and denied ever having one. But police did find a realistic looking pellet gun in nearby bushes.

Winn faces charges of second-degree assault and trespassing.
