Rochester man pleads guilty to distributing child porn

MINNEAPOLIS (KTTC) -- A Rochester man pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to one count of distributing child pornography.

Prosecutors say Nathan Paul Severson, 27, admitted last year that he used his computer to send pictures of a minor involved in sexually explicit conduct. Severson also said at the time he possessed approximately 11,600 images and 430 videos of child pornography.

Severson faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
