BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is investigating some dangerous fuel thefts in Byron.
Deputies say Greenway Co-Op has been hit twice in the last week.
Suspects are drilling fuel out of company gas tanks and stealing it.
Investigators say besides being theft, sparks are easily caused by drilling and could lead to disastrous results when mixed with gasoline.
Last year there was an explosion after a rash of similar thefts happened in Rochester.
Authorities say it costs a about $200 to replace each tank.
