ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- As slightly cooler air trickles into the region behind a weak cold front that pushed through the Upper Mississippi Valley, we'll also be looking at the prospect of some scattered showers in the area for our mid week.
As a disturbance slides through the area today, we'll be looking at the best chances of rain this week.
That's not to say we'll be expecting some heavy rainfall or severe weather, but at least the threat of rain will be in the area off and on all day and tonight as well.
At first, there will be isolated thunderstorms and then more widespread showers later in the day through tonight and into the early hours of our Thursday.
Expect high temperatures in the 80s today and tomorrow and then low 90s for Friday and the weekend with no relief from the heat in sight for at least another week or two while rain chances continue to look sparse into the next week.
