UPDATE: Man traveling to Minn. found dead in Wis.

PLAINVIEW, Minn. (KTTC) -- A man driving from his home in Chicago to Elgin, Minnesota, has been found dead in Wisconsin.

Authorities say 82-year-old Edward Kruger's body was found Wednesday in his pickup truck after the vehicle left Interstate 90 outside of Madison.

Authorities say Kruger was last seen on June 29. He was on his way to Elgin, Minnesota.

Plainview police had been investigating Kruger's disappearance for family members who live there.
